Culcheth Community Day Monday May 4th 

A great day accompanied by the "musical strains" of ABBA hits and the local community Rockets Ukulale band. 

Despite heavy rain on the Sunday, the event went ahead and there was plenty of interest in the engines from the public. Total of 6 engines were on display.

The highlight of the day was a NWSEA member winning the annual "Best in Show" award,  albeit there was concern amongst other exhibitors that the the judges decision has been rigged !

A full collection of classic cars, miniature steam and tractors complemented the engine display.

An excellent day enjoyed by all, plenty of stalls and the Chippy was open for curry & chips.
