Building on the success of previous years

(£300 plus in 2024 and £600 plus in 2025) for the NW Air Ambulance, and increased attendance year on year, can we make the £1000 barrier this year.?

To ease the strain on the Committee, we have recruited a working group of members from the engine and Fylde clubs who have been working hard organising the event, and have also been fortunate in enlisting assistance from the Fylde groups of Rotary, who have been invaluable in providing local assistance, particularly with advertising. In recognition of their invaluable assistance. we shall also be supporting Brian's House Children's Hospice.

As well as our usual attractions, at the request of members we shall be holding an auction on Sunday. This will "test the water" and may become a regular feature if judged a success. There will be no commission, you will receive the full hammer price on sales.

Also new this year, we hope to host a dog show on both days, with many novelty classes, so bring the kids and the family pooch.

Another new attraction will be the ever popular balance beam, so come on all you tractor and Land Rover owners, show us how good you are. A bottle of wine awaits the first driver to balance for 10 seconds.

We hope to welcome support from our previous steam owners, and this year hopefully a visit from a miniature or two.

Don't forget that on Saturday evening you can enjoy the fantastic music of Kate Bradley, family entertainment with all the popular songs from present and past, pure family entertainment, all the family welcome, and no charge.

Please also bear in mind that there is no entry charge to the event, and as well as public collections we depend on raffle sales to swell the coffers. Please try and support the raffle with donations of prizes, the more we get, the more tickets we sell.

As all you rally goers will be aware, new regulations come into force next year following the introduction of Martins Law, and we are looking at the new rules, some of which we shall introduce where appropriate - engine owners, please remember to bring your insurance details.
